Amazon FBM fees explained

With Fulfilled by Merchant, Amazon charges only the referral fee — 15% in most categories, $0.30 minimum — on the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays. You buy and print the label yourself. The Professional plan ($39.99/month) or $0.99 per item on Individual are fixed costs not included here.

FAQ

Is FBM cheaper than FBA?

Per sale, FBM has no fulfillment fee, but you pay shipping, packaging and your time. For small, light items FBA is often cheaper; for heavy or slow items FBM often wins.

Does the referral fee apply to shipping on FBM?

Yes. The referral fee is charged on the total sales price, including shipping the buyer pays.
